Tyler Lockett was incredible for the Seattle Seahawks Sunday in the win over the Houston Texans. Lockett lit up the Texans for 121 yards on six catches. He was targeted eight times in the contest. Lockett was one of two Seahawks receivers with six catches and more than 100 yards receiving and he led the team in receiving yards in Week 8.

Lockett and the entire Seahawks receiving core are cheap elite jerseys benefiting from the improved play of QB Russell Wilson. The Seahawks offense will look continue to soar against Washington this week. Washington plays well against the pass behind cornerback Josh Norman, however, Norman will likely shadow Doug Baldwin most of the game.

Fantasy impact: There are many reasons to like Lockett and the Seahawks offense right now. Wilson is throwing lights out and spreading the ball around well. The Seahawks do not have much of a run game so Wilson is throwing around 40 times per game. Lastly, receivers have success against Washington when they are not shadowed by Norman. He may not have a huge game again this week, however, Lockett has lots of upside and should be starting across all leagues.

Tyler Lockett’s boom or best tendencies were set to bust last week, as the Seahawks receiver only hauled in two receptions on eight targets, amassing ten yards and disappointing fantasy owners everywhere. Seattle has turned into a passing team thanks to a poor offensive line and running back crew, so Lockett’s appeal is higher than it has been in years past.

However, the emergence of Paul Richardson has cut into some of Lockett’s targets, making him hard to trust week in and week out. Lockett and the Seahawks have a quick turnaround in Week 10, facing the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night.

The Cardinals give up the fourth most yards to opposing receivers, making Lockett a flex consideration in deeper PPR leagues. Factor in running back Eddie Lacy’s expected absence thanks to injury and you have a recipe for a “boom” week for Lockett. He still carries a considerable risk, but this week is as good a week as there is for Lockett to shine.

Lockett (shoulder) was listed as a full participant at Tuesday’s walk-through, John Boyle of the Seahawks’ official website reports.

Lockett was held out of Monday’s walk-though, but the team was presumably erring on the side of caution. With him practicing fully Tuesday, the 25-year-old looks on track to go Thursday against the Cardinals, as long as he avoids any setbacks.
